Brian Leslie Loge

Brian Leslie Loge, 66, of Waterloo, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Unity Point Allen Hospital under hospice care.

Brian was born on July 20, 1958, in Waterloo to William Loge and Gladys (Wheeler) Day. He lived with his family in Dewar, Iowa until fourth grade when they moved to Long Beach, California and later returned to Iowa as an adult. He married Robin Beesley in 1981; they later divorced. Brian did a lot of fishing when he was young, and believed every kid should learn how to fish. He loved the beach during his California years and later found happiness and freedom in riding his Harley. He enjoyed working as a flagger in roadways and construction zones for various construction companies. Before his passing, Brian renewed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and trusted his eternity in Heaven to Him.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his stepfather Larry Day, aunts, Arlene Lofstuen, Rea (Roy) Moss, uncles, Alvin (Dorothy) Wheeler and Cletus (Agnes) Wheeler, and his daughter, Veronika Green.

Brian is survived by his children, Brianna Loge, Jade (Lacey) Miller, Mandy (Dontrell) Mallett, Amy Loge, Andreaya Fox, Marveya (Elvis) Samayoa; sister, Cindy (Calvin) Eckhoff of Cedar Falls; aunt, Dory Sanchez of Capistrano Beach, CA; 19 grandchildren; longtime girlfriend Carol Fischels; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Norman.
