Robbie Sarita Lee Perkins

Robbie Sarita Lee Perkins, 53, died on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Zearing Care Center. She was born September 20, 1971, in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended high school at Central High School in Waterloo

She married Kevin L. Perkins and they later divorced. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church, LaPorte City. She worked at Tysons and the Waterloo Wal-Mart.

Robbie had a generous spirit and a deep love for her family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, and her warm smile could brighten anyone’s day. She had a great sense of humor and a talent for making those around her feel special. She enjoyed spending time with her children, who were the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to celebrate their achievements or support them in their endeavors. She had a way of making everyone feel loved, whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being there when she was needed most. Robbie had a love for simple joys listening to her favorite music, watching classic movies, and sharing laughter with those she held dear. She enjoyed finding creative ways to make the holidays extra special for her family.

She is survived by her children: Ashli Perkins and Blake Perkins. Her mother: Brenna Cook Hersh and brother, Shannon Hersh.

Robbie is preceded in death by her brother, Jason Hersh, Walter L. Hersh Jr. (The father who raised her) and her grandparents, Lloyd and Lavern Cook.

Family services will be held at a later date.

She will be inurned at a later date in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
