Georgia Krum, 82, of Kanawha, IA formerly of Waterloo, passed on December 26th 2024. She went peacefully in her sleep, after having a wonderful Christmas. Daughter of the late Nelton and Lola Tipton.

Georgia was a home maker all her life. She enjoyed many hobbies of reading, shopping, sewing and gardening. For several years she helped serve and enjoyed attending congregate meals with her friends in the community. Georgia often attended church at Kanawha Christian Church. She spent her days with her beloved cat Blossom and calling her kids and grandkids just to say hi.

Georgia is proceeded in death by her husband Howard Krum, daughter Teresa Fackler, parents Nelton and Lola Tipton and several brothers and sisters.

Georgia will be remembered by her kind heart and love for her family. She is survived by her remaining four children Deb (Jim) Medearis, Kathy (Kyle) Balek, Steve Krum, Lola (Juan) Hernandez. And her many grandchildren, great grand children and great great grandchildren and remaining two siblings Trudy (Floyd)Morrison and Don Tipton.

There will be a grave side service at a later date at Garden of Memories in Waterloo where her ashes will be placed next to her late husband.
