Fonda Louise Anderson

Fonda L. Anderson, 76, of Waterloo, formerly of Evansdale, died on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

Fonda was born June 6, 1946, in Boone, daughter of Frank Jr. and Lois Debner Hagaman.

She married Paul Anderson on June 4, 1967, in Boone. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1996.

Fonda was mostly a homemaker but had worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Boone County Hospital and the Schoitz Hospital in Waterloo.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Waterloo where she was active in bible study. She had been a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society.

Fonda is survived by her son Mark and his wife America and granddaughter Natalie Anderson, all of Evansdale; three sisters Janice Price of Ames, Patricia Miller of Cedar Falls and Mary Ellen Barry of Kissimmee' FL; and brother, Fred Hagaman of Ames.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul; daughter Marcia Anderson; and her twin brother Frank Hagaman Jr.

Funeral Services are 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Locke Garden View Chapel with visitation for one hour before services at the funeral home.

Following services, Fonda will be cremated and her ashes interred at Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport, Iowa.
