Donald Patrick McGriff

Cedar Falls-

Donald P. McGriff, 73 of Cedar Falls, died Monday December 11, 2023, at UPH Allen Hospital. He was born March 17, 1950, in Tucson, AZ, son of Doc and Barbara A. (Winstead) McGriff. Don graduated from Catalina Magnet High School and graduated with a degree in Marketing at the University of Arizona.

He married Diane Langham on March 29, 1975, at the El Camino Church, Tucson, AZ. Don worked for Control O Fax in Waterloo for 27 years and was the Director of Marketing. He then worked several years at Professional Office Services.

Don was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church and served on the Elder Board. He was a Past President of the Waterloo Exchange Club. He enjoyed keeping busy and loved being outside, whether it was gardening, softball, playing a game of basketball, or an afternoon of golf. Don loved to travel with family. He and his wife enjoyed going on several overseas mission trips through the years. Don embraced his extended family and was always ready for family time.

Don is survived by his wife, Diane of Cedar Falls. His daughter, Lindsay Jasper and her husband Erik of Aurora, CO. Two grandchildren, Addison and Matthew. His brother, Duane McGriff and his wife Ann of Tucson, AZ.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard "Dick" McGriff.

Memorial Services will be planned at a later date this summer.
