Philippe Andrè Dubuc, 67, of Waterloo, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Philippe was born on December 4, 1957, in Bordeaux, France, to Jean Andrè and Reneè Jeanne (Berthe) Dubuc. In 1968, when Philippe was 11, he and his family moved to America where he went on to graduate from Waterloo East High School in 1975.

Philippe proudly served in the United States Army and Iowa Army National Guard for 7 years, serving in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He spent his career working as a truck driver for various transportation companies and was still driving for Johnson Feed Inc. at the time of his passing. He enjoyed being on the road and seeing new places.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Martine Dubuc; daughter, Heather Quail; and grandson, Joseph Andrè Quail.

Philippe is survived by his children, Joshua (Brittani) Dubuc and Amanda Durnin, both of Waterloo; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Locke on 4th, 1519 West 4th St, Waterloo. Burial to follow at Waterloo Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army, American Legion Becker Chapman Post #138, and VFW Post #1623.
