In loving memory of Daniel James Carson

Aka- Danny, DannyBoy, Pepto

February 21, 1980 – November 2, 2024

Daniel "Danny" James Carson, 44, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, due to natural causes. Danny was born on Thursday February 21, 1980 to David James Carson and Marsha Jane Fisher at Schoitz Memorial Hospital, in Waterloo, Ia.

Since Danny was a young boy, he always had a true passion for art, and could always be found with a pencil or crayon in his left hand. That he later led to discover a spray paint can and a tattoo gun. That then was the start to history as we know it-

Danny had an early start to fatherhood, when he welcomed his daughter, Kayla, into the world with Heather Peverill; in a sense they all grew up together, which made their relationship even more unique. And that's something the 3 of them always cherished through the years.

Outside of artistry, Danny had a sweet spot for animals, enjoyed playing the guitar, had a strong love & great taste in music- you could always catch him doing some sick tricks on his skateboard, back in the day.

Danny enjoyed traveling and big city living- through the years he could be found in New York, Atlanta, St. Louis and Denver, Colorado, where he met his lovely wife, Marlena. Where together they built a beautiful life with their sweet fur-baby, Gunner. Together, they also shared a love for family/friends, art & traveling. Plus, she's an amazing cook and he was a sucker for a good meal.

Although Iowa wasn't always home, he loved traveling back to visit his family often. Danny was proud of many things, but his family and friends meant the absolute world to him; he was so incredibly proud of his daughter, Kayla and the life she's created with her husband Brandon; Danny enjoyed every second of being Jaxon, Carson and Olivia's papa.

"Danny dedicated his life to his family, friends and his craft of tattooing. He was more than an artist; he was a father, a husband, a papa, and a true friend to many. His warmth and passion touched countless lives, and his absence leaves a profound void in many. You could always find Danny drawing a dragon, or talking about how badass his daughter and grandkids are, and how lucky he felt to have his amazing wife. If you didn't have the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Danny, his infectious drawl, smirk or "gimme a hug kiddo/man", is something everyone of us will forever carry in our hearts."

Many would describe him as "rad" or "cut from a different cloth" as he was very genuine and selfless to those all around him. Danny was truly one of a kind and it's obvious he made such a positive mark on this world and will be missed by many.

Danny was preceded in death by his Mother, Marsha Fisher, and father, David Carson,

He is survived by his wife, Marlena Carson, his daughter Kayla McCrea (Brandon), Brother Joe Carson, Grandma Diane Carson(Ron), Nephew Caleb Schoepske, and grandkids Jaxon, Carson and Olivia McCrea.
