Kyle Nicholas Holtmeyer

Kyle Holtmeyer, 32, of Evansdale, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.

Kyle was born on June 29, 1989, in Waterloo, to Chris and Tammy Hilmer Holtmeyer. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School with the Class of 2009. He worked at furniture restoration with Ye Olde Strippery in Cedar Falls.

He was interested in magic, collecting Pokeman cards, liked watching movies and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Kyle is survived by his father, Chris (Jill Mangrich) Holtmeyer of Evansdale; his mother, Tammy (Monte Fisch) Holtmeyer of Waterloo; a brother, Derrick Holtmeyer of Cedar Falls; sister, Stephanie (Seth) Gerst of La Porte City. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Betty Hilmer and his paternal grandparents, Henry and Sandra Holtmeyer; nieces, Ainslie and Alayna; and nephews, Jaxon and Trystin.
