Food and Beverage Options

Sharing food together can give family and friends time to pause, visit, and support one another. At Locke at Tower Park, families can host a visitation, service, reception, meal, and beverage service in one convenient location.

Receptions During or After a Visitation

A reception gives guests an easier way to spend time with your family without everyone feeling rushed through a receiving line. Families may choose light snacks, appetizers, desserts, beverages, or bar service during the visitation or following a service.

Reception options may include cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, vegetable trays, pinwheels, deviled eggs, cocktail sandwiches, dips, snacks, desserts, coffee, water, lemonade, and iced tea. Hosted or cash bar service may also be arranged.

Family Meals and Funeral Luncheons

After a visitation or funeral, it can be difficult to think about traveling somewhere else, cooking at home, or organizing a meal on your own. Locke can help you host a family meal or funeral luncheon on-site, giving everyone time to gather comfortably before or after the service.

Meals may be served buffet style or as a planned family meal. Options may include traditional funeral luncheon menus, barbecue meals, entrées with sides and dessert, soup and sandwiches, breakfast-for-lunch selections, salads, rolls, coffee, water, lemonade, and iced tea.

Private Family Room Food

During a visitation, family members may need a quiet place to step away, rest, or have something to eat. Locke can provide food and beverages in a private Family Room, separate from the main gathering area.

Family Room options may include meat and cheese trays, vegetable trays, fruit trays, dessert trays, assorted snacks, beverages, or select buffet-style options.

Additional Food and Beverage Considerations

Menu Planning and Customization

Our menus are designed so the items work well together, but many can be adjusted slightly. Your Locke event planner will help with menu selections, guest counts, timing, special requests, and any needed accommodations.

Some menus have guest minimums, and smaller groups can often be accommodated through customized options. Please let us know in advance about special dietary needs, children’s meals, or other considerations.

Bar Service

Locke has a liquor license and can provide bar service for receptions, meals, and gatherings. Families may choose a cash bar, an open bar, drink tickets, or a family tab.

Beer, liquor, mixed drinks, bartending, and service must be provided by Locke in accordance with state and local liquor laws. IDs are checked as required. Kegs are not allowed.

Families may provide their own wine if it is unopened and arranged in advance. Locke staff will provide wine service, and a corkage fee applies. Any unopened bottles brought by the family must be taken home at the end of the event.
