Sandra "Sandy" Jean Kolar Titus, 77, of Waterloo, died on May 30, 2021 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital.

She was born on September 15, 1943 in Waucoma, IA; the daughter of Leonard C. and Loretta Ann (Bruening) Kolar.

Sandy married Rodell LeRoy Titus in Evansdale, he preceded her in death on May 16, 1983.

She received nurse's aide training and worked as a nurse's aide in New Hampton and had worked at the Donut Hut in Riceville. Sandy then worked at Black Hawk County Jail as a cook until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Titus of Waterloo and Keith Titus of Elma; three daughters, Roxann (Rick) Blanchard of Waterloo, Karen (Ryan) Smith of Charles City, Dawn Stanley of Evansdale; three sisters, Mary Wright of Covington, VA, Jane (Roger) Seehase of Cedar Falls, Deb Wesely of Coralville; two brothers, Jerry (Melissa) Kolar of Dunkerton and Donald (Jo) Kolar of Independence; six grandchildren, Brian Stanley, Danielle Stanley, Michael Jacobson, Gerrot Jacobson, Bo Titus, Brittany Titus; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodell; and grandson, Ethan Stanley.
