Susan L. (Sue) Cook, 54, of Waterloo, died on Sunday, October 9, 2005, at her home.

Sue was born on December 14, 1950, in Algona, Iowa, the daughter of Gordon and Laona (Wichtendahl) Jenson.

Sue graduated from Iowa Valley Marengo High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts from UNI in 1994, and her Masters in social work in 1996. After graduation, Sue worked at Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging, ManorCare, Bickford Cottage, and most recently at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. She had also served as the Spiritual Gifts Coordinator at Grace Lutheran Church. In her free time Sue really enjoyed reading. She was also active each year with the Alzheimer’s Association memory walk.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Cyndy Calfee and her husband Todd, of Cape Coral, Florida; her mother, Laona of Waterloo; and her brother, Randy Jenson of Waterloo.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Gordon.
