Suella Anungar

1982 – 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Suella Anungar, age 41, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born on May 14, 1982, the daughter of Helmet Abner and Camilla Konne.

Suella was an amazing soul. No matter what problem there was, she would always find a way to solve it.

She has 6 wonderful children she raised with love that is indescribable. Suella loved to spend time with her family and spread the gospel. At difficult times she would overachieve to reach her goals. She worshipped God and made sure her kids would follow behind. Suella made an impact with how she would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need and we will be forever grateful for her kindness and generosity.

Suella is survived by her husband of 17 years, Alester Anungar and her children: Helmi Abner, Helmina Anungar, Lester Konne Anungar, Rine Mola Anungar, Kios Anungar and Les Kajitok Anungar.

Services are 2:30 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Assembly of God Church in Waterloo.

Visitation begins at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Assembly of God Church in Waterloo.

Burial will be in the Waterloo Cemetery on Saturday.

Locke on 4th is in charge of arrangements for the family.
