Laura A. Buhr, 102, of Readlyn, died Monday morning at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born February 15, 1912 in Lafayette Township, Bremer County, the daughter of Louis and Ida Winkleman Bauer. She married Daniel H. Buhr on February 26, 1933 in Waverly. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1990. Laura and Dan owned and operated the Readlyn Feed Mill retiring in 1975.

She is survived by 1 son; Daniel F. Buhr of Waterloo, 1 grandson: Daniel A. Buhr of Bellevue, NE, 1 granddaughter; Deann K. (Michael) DeGard of Bothell, WA, 2 great grandsons; Matthew and Mitchell DeGard, and 1 brother; Leroy (Gladys) Bauer of Waverly.

She was preceded in death by; 3 brothers; Floyd, Clarence and Edwin; and 1 sister: Hilda Prestien.
