Darel D. Timson, 90, of La Porte City, died Wed., November 10, 2021 at La Porte City Specialty Care. He was born on December 30, 1930 in Knox County, NE, son of Fred and Doris (Kimball) Timson. He graduated from Geneseo High School. Darel married Sharon Davis on January 13,1951 in La Porte City; she preceded him in death on February 21, 2015. He worked at Rath Packing company until they closed. He then worked for Farmstead and IBP. He also worked at the Grout Museum until he was 73. Darel was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Washburn and the Moose Lodge #328.

Survived by 2 sons, Arthur (Lynn) Timson of La Porte City, and Clayton (Connie) Timson of Arvada CO; 2 daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Tripp of Colville, WA, and Dee (Paul) Westberg of Vista CA; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Delbert (Wanda) Timson of Waterloo, Norman Timson, and Fred (Joyce) Timson both of Tucson, AZ; and sister, Darlene (Bob) Waterhouse of Guttenberg; He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; great-grandson, Skyler Parks; and 2 brothers, Richard and Larry Timson.
