Eunice B. Cook, 95, of Waterloo, passed away April 15, 2021 at ManorCare Health Service in Waterloo.

She was born in Colesburg, Iowa on April 7, 1926, daughter of Houston and Helen (Frank) Smith. She married Charles Cook, Jr. in Oelwein on May 15, 1947. They later moved to Waterloo where they had two children, Cynthia and Timothy.

Eunice collected angels and owls. She enjoyed her yard, flowers, doing crafts, and decorating her entire home for Christmas, Easter, and other holidays. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waterloo, American Baptist Women, Friendly Star Circle, Rebecca Circle, and Quilting Group.

She worked for 20 years at Santa Claus Industries and 20 years at Younkers.

Eunice is survived by her son, Timothy and Barbara Cook of Denver' Iowa; four grandchildren, Charles and Shanna Moriarty of Georgia, Crager and Katie Cook of Iowa, Nicholas Moriarty of Illinois, and Cameron and Laura Cook of Iowa; seven great grandchildren, Koragan, Caden, AnnaLeah, Clarissa, Cyler, Bjoern, and Hadley; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Cook, Jr.; her daughter, Cynthia Rae Cook Moriarty; granddaughter, Kristen Alicia Moriarty; grandson, James Steven Moriarty; and three brothers, Carl, Lawrence, and Frank LeRoy Smith.
