Harold H. “Andy” Anderson, 73, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 11, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

He was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Traer, son of Gustav and Ellajean McElihenney Anderson. He married Donna Rohmer on Dec. 26, 1953, in Waterloo.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1952. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years, then worked for various other companies.

Survivors include: his wife; three daughters, Jody (John) Mason and Wendy (Shawn) Ryan, both of Eldridge, and Terrill (Lon) Karr of Traer; two sons, Brad of Cedar Falls and Greg (Teresa) of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth (Gregg) Fliehler of Rockford, Ill.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Reformed Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Public visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with a 7 p.m. Masonic rite by Martin Lodge 624.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Shriners’ Hospitals for Children.
