Gary Richard Larson, 74, of Waterloo, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at Manorcare of natural causes. He was born December 25, 1943 in Dubuque the son of Henry and Mildred Klein Larson. He married Linda Downing on February 26, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Independence; she preceded him in death on June 24, 2014.

Gary worked as a truck driver for many years.

Survived by: four sons, Jerry Larson of Independence, Jeff Larson of Waterloo, Larry (Tracy) Larson of Waterloo, Terry (Terry) Larson of Waterloo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the oldest of 13 children.

Preceded in death by: his parents and his wife.
