Sally A. Jarchow, 77, of Stout, formerly of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at home.

She was born November 5, 1943, in Triplett, MO, on the family farm, daughter of Raymond Earnest and Melba Louise Meller Gash. Sally graduated from Waterloo Columbus High School in 1961. She married Martin 'Marty' J. Jarchow on April 24, 1971 at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo; he died December 18, 2018.

Sally was a computer operator for many years at local accounting firms. She later worked at Michael's Arts and Crafts in Waterloo until her retirement.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo and Letter Carriers Auxiliary where she served as both secretary and president. Salley and Marty volunteered for many dinners at the AMVETS hall.

Sally loved bowling and played in many leagues. She enjoyed spending her time knitting, watching gameshows such as People Puzzler, Match Game, Wheel of Fortune, and Price is Right, and gambling at the casino. If anyone in the family made a trip to the store, it was required they return with scratch off tickets or they would be making a return trip.

Sally is survived by her children, Perry (Chris) Jarchow of Ocala' FL, Laurie Bjerke of Marshalltown' Brenda Jarchow of Naples' FL, Melody Jarchow of Alamo' TX, Charles Jarchow of Waterloo' Russell (Tanatip) Jarchow of Naples' FL, Jorje (Brenda) Jarchow of Waterloo, and Faith (Doug) Steere of Stout; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marty Jarchow; infant grandson, Martin Jarchow; and brother, Charles "Chicken Charlie" Gash.
