Patty A. Brown, of Lodi, California, formerly of Waterloo, died February 17, 2001 at her home of cancer. She was born June 7, 1936, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of La Von and Gladys Stephens Ham. Patty grew up in Waterloo and graduated from East High School in 1954.

She married Max E. Brown March 13, 1957, in Waterloo. He died January 23, 1979. Patty worked at Roberts Dairy Queen and Donutland for 14 years until 1993 when she moved to California. She was working at present at Haynes Board and Care Home in Lodi, CA.

Patty is survived by her two sons; Jeff and wife Beth of LaPorte City; Todd of Cedar Falls; and daughter Lori and husband Jeff of Cedar Falls. Two grandchildren; Sean and Savannah. One brother; Bill Ham of Waterloo and one sister; Betty Haynes of Lodi, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Robert Ham.
