Patricia J. Hofreiter, 90, of Waterloo, died Saturday, April 13, at her home of natural causes. She was born December 28, 1911, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harve and Irma Palms Meade. She married Dr. Bernard Hofreiter on June 28, 1936, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshalltown. He died in 1997.
Patricia worked at Hofreiter’s Antiques for 18 years, retiring in 1981.
She is survived by a son, Robert of Waterloo; two grandchildren; and a brother, Don Meade of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Don B.; and two sisters.
