Betty Louise Moran

Betty L. Moran, 86, of Elk Run Heights, IA, died on Friday, October 11, 2024, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, Waterloo, IA.

Betty was born on February 8, 1938, in Jesup, IA, to Walter and Elizabeth Weyland Weber.

Betty graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Waterloo.

She married Roy G. Moran Jr., on February 1, 1958, in Waterloo. He died on April 22, 2011.

She was a homemaker in her own home.

Betty was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, she loved her family, music, liked to bake, and travel. She was a Godly woman and a devout Catholic!

Betty is survived by her sons Dan Moran, Jesup and Scott (Lisa) Moran, Benton, AR; daughters Deborah (Carl) Smith, Waterloo, Vicki (Mick) Putnam, Jesup, Sandy (Jerry) Culpepper, Waterloo and Amy (Steve) Lampman, Waterloo; sisters-in-law Sharon Weber, Waterloo and Pat Weber, Johnston; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by parents; husband; 7 brothers Ray Weber, Jerry Weber, Francis Weber, James Weber, Donald Weber, Edward Weber and Robert Weber in infancy; and 6 sisters Bernadette Fischels, Marcella Moore, Theresa Smith, Dorothy Frost, and Armella Immel and Lorraine Weber in infancy.

Services: 10:30 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Visitation: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park, Waterloo and for an hour before services at the church.

Burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls
