Goldie Marie Danielson was born September 27, 1912 in Grand River, IA to Jordan Joseph and Nellie Maude (Woodard) Crees. On April 2, 1931 at the Linden United Methodist Church, Waterloo she married LeRoy E. Danielson. He passed away Nov. 14, 1989.

Goldie worked for Rath Packing Co. operating a vacuum packing machine for 10 years and also at Hinson Mfg. She and her husband were caretakers of the Cedar Springs Wesleyan Camp in Floyd, IA for 5 years. They were charter members of the Maywood Wesleyan Church in Waterloo and the Faith Wesleyan Church in Cedar Falls.

Goldie is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Robert) Hasty of Cedar Falls. Three sons, Dr. Richard (Marlene) Danielson of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; Theodore (Lillian) Danielson, and David Danielson both of Cedar Falls, daughter-in-law, Ruby Danielson. Twenty-three grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She has two sisters, Martha Ellison, Des Moines and Emma Blondin, Waterloo.

She has been preceded in death by her husband, son Donald, granddaughter Brenda Joyce and 5 brothers Fred, Dewey, Homer, Dean and Emmett Crees.
