Dan Graham, 54, of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly due to heart issues on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Unity Point-Allen Hospital.

Dan was born on March 3, 1971, in Waterloo, to Steven A. Graham, Sr. and Terry L. Dunfee. He attended Waterloo West High School where he also participated in the wrestling program.

At the age of 13, Dan started working at Country Kitchen as a Dish Washer and would often be found standing on a milk crate washing dishes. Dan went on to spend over 20 years working at Country Kitchen. Dan was extremely dedicated to Village Inn where he had been working for 15 years. As a lover of the outdoors, he spent his summers camping at Deerwood Park Campground in Evansdale with his dog. Dan adored his nieces and nephews, affectionately known as the “Best Uncle in the World” who never missed an opportunity to support them at their sporting events. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven A. Graham, Sr.; stepfather, Tim Kezar; maternal grandparents, Don and Fern Dunfee; paternal grandparents, Arthur “Bud” and Dorothy Graham; step-grandparents, Ernest and Lorraine Joens, Harry and Kay Kezar; nephew, Gabriel Graham; and his best friend, Rob Klinger.

Dan is survived by his mother, Terry (David) Roeder of Waterloo; siblings, Steven A. (Kristen) Graham, Jr. of Denver, CO, Kelli (Jason) Sundt, Sara (Ben) Kavalier, and Issac Graham, all of Waterloo; step mom, Sandy (Charles) Watson; nieces and nephews, Haley (Jarrin), Brianna, Quinn, Abbi (Tyler) , and Harley (Payton); great-nephew and niece, Graham and Greenlee and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society.
