Edward C. Franck, 94, of Waldron, Arkansas; formerly of Hudson, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at the Waldron Nursing Center in Arkansas from natural causes. He was born on September 9, 1910, in Billings, Missouri, the son of Charles and Mary (Conley) Franck. Edward graduated from Hudson High School in 1929.

Edward married Vivian K. Strickland on February 8, 1936, in San Diego, California. She died on November 26, 1996. He served in the United States Army during WW II, and was an owner/operator truck driver who hauled mainly grain and livestock in the Hudson area.

Edward is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vivian; four brothers: Homer, Hal, Carl, and Raymond Franck; and one sister, Grace Holmes.
