Marolyn J. Hunt, 80, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 4, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Waterloo, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Shiek Holschlag. She married James “Jim” Hunt on Jan. 19, 1947, at First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.

Mrs. Hunt was a 1944 graduate of Waterloo East High School and was employed at John Deere from 1944 to 1947 and then worked in the home.

Survivors include: her husband; two sons, Dennis (Barb) and David, both of Waterloo; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
