Randy G. Jeter, 43, of Waterloo, formerly of Virginia, died at his home on Saturday, March 15, 2008.

Randy was born February 26, 1965 in Farmville, Virginia, the son of Jack and Rachel Hudson Jeter.

He received his GED from Hawkeye Community College in 2007.

Randy worked for Pries Roofing.

He was an animal lover – his pets were his family. Randy loved to draw and do calligraphy. He was a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Blackstone.

Randy is survived by his life partner Ken Frasher of Waterloo, his mother Rachel and stepfather George Johnson of Blackstone, Virginia; sister Teresa Finch and her husband J.D. of Stoney Creek, Virginia; sister Sharon McComas and her husband Kell of Chesterfield, Virginia; and brother Eddie Jeter and his wife Jeanne of Blackstone, Virginia.

Randy is also survived by two nieces: Dana Finch and Brittany McComas, two nephews: Eric Finch and Jacob Jeter, great niece Sienna, and three great nephews: Lamar, Elijiah, and Mondale Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father.
