Kathleen A. Brock, 97, of Landmark Commons, died Wednesday, April 14, at Friendship Village Retirement Center.

She was born Oct. 21, 1912, in Kinsman, Ill., daughter of Benjamin and Mary Coss Sheehan. She married Harold L. Brock on July 1, 1991, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Brock entered a convent in 1926 at age 14, taught school as a nun and left the convent in 1943. She then worked briefly at Ford Motor Co., then as a teacher in the Dearborn school system, Dearborn, Mich., retiring in 1973.

Survived by: her husband; a brother, John Sheehan of Bryan, Ohio; and a sister, Lucille Michael of Delphos, Ohio.

Preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
